This is a movie with a really interesting story. It was directed by Michio Yamamoto (who directed Vampire Doll), and as well as being from the same studio, it was directed and exhibited alongside Vampire Doll by Toho Studio, which wanted to reduce costs by producing both films simultaneously using the same team. By the way, something very interesting and cool is that the movie was only translated into English in 2020, thanks to the fans who financed the translation and made it available online. Another detail I've read about the movie is that the movie only received a home video release in Japan in 2022, along with the trilogy "The Bloodthirsty Trilogy" by director Michio Yamamoto, which was released on Blu-Ray in Japan for the first time.
So this is a movie that was lost for a long time and has resurfaced in recent years thanks to a TV show and fans willing to pay for the translation. And because it was released alongside Vampire Doll, the director opted once again for a female protagonist.
A curious fact too, but understandable, is that there is a lot of misinformation about the movie on the internet, for example in relation to the plot, which many say is a movie where "a girl is haunted by an invisible man", but this may be because the movie has been inaccessible for many years.
